Jim Pike
Just read where Jim Pike, original member of The Lettermen, passed away June 9. Jim was the smooth voice who made The Lettermen sound so good.

Sad news indeed. The Lettermen have always been a favorite group and I've got a decent collection of their LP's and CD's. I did see them in concert back in 1973 and really enjoyed the show. Thanks Jim for the great music and solid memories, R.I.P.

I always loved "Theme From A Summer Place" and was thrilled to know the song had lyrics. I really liked The Lettermen's version.

Good idea, Tom. I had to do a search on how to do this, but I found that it is easy enough for me to do and it makes a lot of sense to have this as a pinned topic. Thanks very much for the suggestion.
