Jim Post, a mainstay of the Chicago folk music scene for more than five decades, died on Sept. 14, 2022. His passing was noted in a Facebook post by Ken Voss of the Illinois Rock & Roll Music Archives, who stated that Post died after a long illness. Post was 82.
