Chuck Jackson, a member of the R&B H.O.F. who charted 23 times on the Billboard Hot 100, passed away on Thursday, 2/16/23. His biggest hit "Any Day Now (My Wild Beautiful Bird)" peaked at #23 on the Billboard chart in 1962, and was written by the recently deceased Burt Bacharach. Chuck was also a member of the Dell-Vikings from 1957 - 1959. He was 85 years old.

Another phenom artist who, once again, was overlooked. Great voice - REAL SOUL! One of my favorites from him: Where Do I Go From Here

Chuck's "Something You Got" with Maxine Brown has to be one of the greatest R&B duets of all time (in my not-so-humble opinion).
