I saw this on my local radio board and couldn't resist posting it here. An IT firm has created a number of "new" Beatles songs that the Fab Four never recorded, including a version on them doing The Monkees' hit "Daydream Believer" and Don McLean's "American Pie."

Also included, a song Paul McCartney says he wishes he'd written: "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys. 



I'm curious if anyone who listens to these fake remakes thinks they're even close to what the Beatles actually might have done if they covered any of the songs in question. The full YouTube page with many more featured, is here if you want to listen to even more of them - some of which, are pretty bizarre. I mean, the Beatles doing the "Theme From Cheers?" Now that's just not right!
