I really haven't had much of an idea over the years as to what Jann Wenner was like as a person, other than not liking the way that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has excluded many worthy artists -- and inducted or considered inducting many others who I've felt were far less worthy. But I think that what he said in his recent New York Times interview not only helps to explain the problems with the Hall of Fame, but also shows that he's pretty clueless when it comes to rock music artists in general.
