Is there not a simpler way to paste an image? I have a funny cartoon that made me laugh out loud, but can't figure out how to paste it here. Aflem.. perhaps if you PM me your email, I'll send it to you and you can paste it.

Done. I'll be looking for it in the mail (no postage due!)

Not really an oldie as perhaps usually defined on this board, but it's timely and just too good to resist.

I must mention that with the 85th note posted to this thread, my previous record of 84 posts on the old board as responding to the death (supposed) of Roy Drusky has been surpassed!.. I salute 'aflem' and pass along to him all the honors and privileges of the record and wish him well!!! Jim Southern

On the old board, postings would only stay up for a limited period of time and then drop off the board, whereas that doesn't happen on this board. So aflem, you've been racking up the replies here since last August, whereas Jim's post would have only had a couple of weeks or so to obtain replies. It reminds me a bit of sports records, where sometimes a distinction is made between achievements in the modern era vs. what had been done before when circumstances were very different. It's an impressive number of replies either way, and as the admin here I'm just glad to see so many people posting and keeping the spirit of the old board alive.
