Another well deserved accolade for Mr. Burton.

I know Burton best as the co-composer, with Nelson, of Marshmallow Skies, released by Rick Nelson on his one and only(?) psychedelic pop album, "Another Side Of Rick," in November 1967, which crashed and burned. At the time, he really didn't know if he wanted to be a hippie or a cowboy. In the end, he embraced C&W - better choice.

Rich, I happened to be looking through Nelson's discography on Wikipedia recently, and I noticed that Another Side of Rick was described as "orchestrated psychedelic pop" and then his next album, Perspective, was described as "more orchestrated psychedelic pop". I hadn't actually been aware of him going in that kind of direction at this point in his career, so it was interesting to see that and then to see you mention this. And yes, I'm sure that embracing country ended up being a much better choice for him.
