He only had one hit on the charts - 1979's "You're Only Lonely" - but J.D. Souther was also behind a slew of hits for the Eagles, including "Best of My Love, "New Kid In Town," and "Heartache Tonight." He passed away this week at the age of 78 after a long career in the music business.
