It needs be be noted that one of the truly talented artists of the 20th Century passed away on September 9, 2024.  Caterina Valente was a major performer in Europe and did show up in the USA now and then.  Her big hit single "The Breeze And I" reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the Spring of 1955.  I understood that she spoke and sang fluently in 7 languages and was an accomplished guitarist.  She did appear on the "Dean Martin Show" as well as other TV programs.  She was a favorite of mine when I was in the 8th grade and deserved the stardom she earned.  Thank you Caterina and R.I.P.
