It's been awhile so I thought I'd mention the "Rock Radio Scrapbook" web site.  Lots of great radio memories are found there.  One site you should check out....(1) Scroll down to where you see the Air Checks topic. (2) Click on the 1960's. (3) When you get there, check out 1963.  There you'll find (A) Murray The K, of NYCity fame (B) Ron Lundy of WIL, St. Louis, (D) Dan Daniel, also note worthy in NYCity, (E) Dick Clark, with a CHUM microphone in the picture, but it is the real Dick Clark and nestled among these DJ heavyweights at the (C) position, the one and only Jim Southern!!  It's the highlight of my broadcast career.
