Interesting that of the 100 songs listed at the second link, 6 of them charted twice. I guess that when you only have one hit in you, rereleasing it is the best way of having a second one.

It certainly is an interesting list. However, for the record, at least 5 of the listed performers were primarily country music artists with multiple hits on the C&W Top 40 charts. They are....
Lynn Anderson - 48 hits
Jeannie C. Riley - 14
Carl Perkins - 10
Debbie Boone - 8
Sheb Wooley - 8
