Together with Jim Seals, Dash Crofts had several soft rock topping hits in the 70s, including Summer Breeze and Diamond Girl. He and Seals split after several years together and both pursued solo careers, but neither had the same kind of success as when they were a duo. 

Dash Crofts has died of heart failure. He was 87. Seals died in 2022. 

They may never pass this way again.
