Her name was Nedra Talley Ross and she sometimes got lost behind the giant talent of Ronnie Spector's big voice. But she was one of the three members of the Ronettes, and her contributions can't be overlooked. She was featured on all their big hits, including "Be My Baby," and was inducted with the group into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
She was from another era of rock music that is now long gone, but remembered for its Wall of Sound.
Ross was 80.
