She actually played here in Toronto at the Queen Elizabeth Theater a couple of months ago. The one review I saw was favourable, even though that type of music is not the writer's cup of tea. The last thing I heard by her was a reworking of Downtown a few years back; her voice is still good but I wasn't a fan of the new version's slower tempo .

Always liked her music. I remember our 8th grade class went to a theater during a school day to see "Good-Bye Mr. Chips." Petula costarred in the movie. I was surprised. I didn't know she was an actress as well.

I saw Pet Clark in concert several years ago at one of the casinos that dot the landscape here in the Northwest. It was a very enjoyable evening. I always admired the quality of her recordings and many of them are among my favorites. It should also be noted that Pet shares her birthday with another notable female vocalist, Frida Lyngstad of ABBA who reached 74.
