Some of the pics featured on the page linked below are amazing. They were taken by a guy named Jim Marshall, who captured not only some of the great musicians of the 60s but the very vibe of the era itself. Unfortunately, the gallery displaying them is in England, so unless you're over there, these might be all we get to see for now.

Yeah, well, I didn't know Johnny Cash had "uneven fingers!" But what's even funnier is the caption: ""Marshall met Johnny Cash in 1962 and, having stayed in touch, was asked to shoot a concert Cash was giving in Folsom Prison and subsequently another to the inmates of San Quentin, CaliforniaTaken during the sound check, this shot captures Cash's reaction when Marshall suggested they shoot a picture for the warden"
