Mike Nesmith, who alternately tends to avoid being associated with the Monkees and then joins them for the occasional reunion tour (since there are now only two left, it's kind of problematic) has posted a new video paying tribute to former member Peter Tork. Well, in some places, it's a tribute. 

In the short and often ethereal piece (3.36), a sometimes serious, sometimes joking Nez admits, "Pete and I did not get along, We weren't playmates, we were work associates." Kind of a surprising revelation, considering they were the only two real musicians of the foursome. 

The video was put up on YouTube on Feb. 9, 2020. Four days later, it already has more than 42,000 views. Not bad for a group that broke up more than 50 years ago.
