The original bass player with Gerry and the Pacemakers Les Chadwick has died at age 75.

Born John Leslie Chadwick in Liverpool in 1943 Les can be heard on all the bands 60's hits.

Mr. Chadwick moved to Australia in 1973 and died in Sydney on Boxing Day 2019 of brain cancer.

I had some email exchanges with  Mr. Chadwick about 10 or so years ago.  

As a big Pacemakers fan I  was thrilled.  He was very gracious and patient with my questions.
