The 10 Happiest Songs, According to Science

I don't really take this all that seriously but it's fun to consider. I'm not sure which age group they asked, of course, but it's revealing to me that there's no hip hop or rap music included.

In fact, everything listed is mostly from the 60s or 70s, when, I maintain, music WAS indeed, a lot more fun.

Re: The 10 Happiest Songs, According to Science

A few years ago while in Vegas, we were enjoying the nightlife outside a casino.  A bar DJ was playing music and Bon Jovi's "Livin' On a Prayer" was blaring.  Many of us started singing and one guy in particular was singing quite loud as he strutted around the area as if on stage.  We looked at each other, both singing the part to each other, "...half way there, whoa ho livin' on a prayer.."  both head banging and bellowing with conviction.  Yeah.  Yeah.  Happy moment.

Aflem alluded to the absence of Fifties songs from the list of “The Ten Happiest Songs”.  Since I am an aficionado of Fifties Rock ‘n’ Roll, I thought I would post my list of the ten Fifties Rock ‘n’ Roll songs that make me the happiest. After all, the television series “Happy Days” started out for a few years being about the Fifties and was called such as a reflection of the time and music after World War II and the Korean War and before the Vietnam War.
