If you're a grandparent like I am you'll enjoy this story

Back in 1994 Grandpa took his 8 year old grandson to the show to see movie Forest Gump

There's a well known scene in the movie where the title character is being chased by a group of teenaged bullies.

During that chase scene the 50's song Rebel Rouser is playing in the background 

​Almost immediately the 8 year old youngster stood up on his theater seat and exclaims in a loud voice for all to hear "That's my Grampa!!" 

Both Duane Eddy & his grandson enjoyed a most pleasant surprise in that movie theater that day in Nashville 

Duane Eddy had absolutely no idea his song was being used in that movie 

​And before you ask the answer is yes he was fairly compensated for its use in the soundtrack
