    Phyllis McGuire of the McGuire Sisters Dies at 89

    Phyllis McGuire, the lead singer and last remaining member of 1950s trio the McGuire Sisters, died on Tuesday at her Las Vegas home. She was 89.
    Phyllis' death was confirmed by the Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas. They did not specify a cause of death.

    If you want to take a few minutes some day may I suggest you find several of the YouTube videos that highlight this ladies Las Vegas home.

     Talk about lifestyles of the rich and famous

    Her home was as grand an abode as I've ever seen

    I once requested "May You Always" from a DJ on a call-in request radio program

    "Sorry, it's not on my system"

    "Really?   It charted for 12 weeks and peaked at no. 11 on Billboard in 1959"

    "I like it too, but its not on the system they gave me to work with"

    "Who programmed this system"

    "Someone in Dallas, Texas who obviously believes in short play lists"
