You may have never heard the name Allee Willis, but you certainly know her work. The award-winning composer was the songwriter behind hits like "I'll Be There For You" by the Rembrandts, better known as the theme to the TV show "Friends."
She also penned "September" for Earth Wind & Fire and was the brains behind "Boogie Wonderland" and The Pointer Sisters' smash "The Neutron Dance."
In addition, she won a Grammy for best soundtrack for "Beverly Hills Cop."
She passed away Christmas Eve at the age of 72.
