It's goodbye Hank Williams and hello Little Richard, as ABC's Monday Night Football returns with a brand new theme song. I wonder if they'll include the "It's Saturday Night" part of "Rip It Up" since it's clearly another day of the week. The song also makes mention of "ball tonight," except I strongly doubt they were referring to the sport!

I'm not a football fan, but I might tune in at the start just to hear what the new accompaniment sounds like.
