Dozier looks back on success, struggle and smash hits in autobiography

At age 78, for a few hours a day, every day of the week, Lamont Dozier still engages in a familiar old ritual: He takes a seat at his piano and creates music.
It’s a work habit and creative exercise that has brought the Detroit-born Dozier incalculable success through the decades — and an outsized role in shaping modern music.

Quite an interesting story.  It's always fun to sit and imagine what it was like to turn on the radio at any time and have a good chance of hearing one of your songs played.  No question, L.D. made a significant contribution to the days of my youth and my early radio experiences.  It sounds like he's doing well and enjoying the fruits of his creativity.  His should be a great book, loaded with familiar names and songs!
