Peter Noone One Of The Last British Invasion Survivors

The former lead singer of Herman's Hermits admits he's one of the few survivors of the British Invasion, and owes much of his longevity to the people who looked out for him when he hit it big at the tender age of 16 - including the Rolling Stones and The Beatles.

“One day in New York City, Keith Richards and (Rolling Stones Manager) Andrew Oldham cornered me and told me if they found out I was doing drugs they would beat me up. And Keith Richards has some big knuckles."

Magical moment. I would like to see him perform now. Got to see them in the 60s but it was sort of an all-stars tour so each band got a couple of songs.

If memory serves, I'm pretty sure Peter has checked into this forum in it's previous incarnation. It's been a few years, and my rememberer isn't functioning as well as it once was... although my forgetter seems healthier than ever.
