He's 79, suffering from Parkinson's, retired and no longer on tour. But Neil Diamond proved he's still got lots left and is sounding great with an acoustic Twitter video that shows him singing a new version of his classic "Sweet Caroline," re-written especially for the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Unfortunately, we don't get the whole thing, but you get the drift from the roughly 2:20 video that's posted online.
Unlike Linda Ronstadt, who stopped singing because of the effect of Parkinson's disease on her voice, Diamond still sounds like he could be on the road tomorrow, if he was healthy - and they were still allowing concerts.
