Edna Wright R.I.P.
The lead singer of the all girl group Honey Cone has passed
Edna Wright who was the younger sister of music legend Darlene Love was 74
Cause of death was a heart attack.
Honey Cone were named after a favourite ice cream flavour
No doubt best known for their 1971 chart hit Want Ads.
"Extra extra read all about it

Experience in love preferred but will accept a young trainee"
You know the song. It's a great tune

Thanks very much, unclefester. I had seen her passing noted in a newsletter I receive and had wanted to find a proper article about her to post, but then it had slipped my mind. Not sure if I had ever read in the past about her being Darlene Love's sister, but if I had I had forgotten. Here's an article about her career and passing.

Billboard Magazine paid tribute not only to the late singer but the group's iconic #1 song, "Want Ads."
