Their names are legendary: Bob Dylan, Charlie Watts, Tom Jones, Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, David Crosby and Mike Love. What do they have in common beyond the fact all of them are famous musicians?
Every one of them is turning or is about to turn 80 years of age. And many of them are still planning to tour once COVID is under control. We're talking about "My Generation" - but they thankfully didn't die before they got old.
Talk about giving a whole new meaning to Rock of Ages.

In the summer of '65 my mother let me use an old radio that was stored in the attic. That summer opened my life up to music. The hits at that time are precious tunes to me today, as they were my "first". Ronnie Dove's "Little Bit of Heave" was one of them.

One More Mountain To Climb was my favorite by him, followed closely by When Liking To Turns to Loving. He had some good stuff - particularly hot from 1965-1966 with about 12 in the Top 40.

If long-time contributor "Rockin' Canuck was here, WANDA JACKSON (age 84) would have been posted by now. Say, where is that fellow, anyhow? Has been a while.
