Lightfoot To Reopen Toronto's Massey Hall In November

To no one's surprise, the first artist to perform at the revitalized Massey Hall will be troubadour Gordon Lightfoot, who has played Massey Hall consistently throughout his career since the '60s. He was the last artist to perform there, on July 1, 2018, and he returns for three consecutive nights, November 25-27, closing in on his 170th appearance on the main stage (now named after his longstanding friend, Allan Slaight).

Outstanding news!!  He is an icon above many other icons.

Especially since a host of media outlets once declared him prematurely dead.

The day Gordon Lightfoot died, then came back to life

Speaking of Gordon, I ran across one of Rick Beatto's "What Makes This Song Great" and he beautifully analyzes "If You Could Read My Mind", which truly is one of the most beautiful songs written. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X33YyowZZxQ
