I found this story of someone most of us have never heard about fascinating. It's incredible the influence one relatively obscure man could have on the future of some of the most famous musicians of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Great article. Many of the bombers of WWII did name their planes after popular songs of the day. FWII, just a trivia point of mine but the plane didn't come off the assembly line with a name. The name would be agreed on by the crew that was assigned to it.

That guy must have been paid by the word. I scanned through it and was surprised to know Cow-Cow Boogie was written for an Abbot & Costello movie. It was cut but made it into theaters as a Speaking of Animals short.
