He was supposed to be here in Erie this past weekend... which the postponement of the concert was the first I'd heard of it. With the date rescheduled, I may try to go to it now. I saw him once before. His voice was gone, but it was still a magical experience. That was before he quit smoking, though, and from the videos I've seen on youtube, his voice improved a little bit after he quit.
