The concert had to be cut short when heavy rain and lightning from tropical storm Henri filled the sky during Barry Manilow's performance. I guess the guy upstairs doesn't like him either.

Yes, but that wasn't enough to stop Manilow. He still made it through the rain, and found himself respected as well.

as soon as the announcer asked folks to leave, the cameras cut to the studio. munchalong might have finished the song he was doing but certainly couldn't have done another number or completed his set, as i'm sure the highly competent union engineers would have immediately begun powering down in the face of rain and wind.

while  some did gush about how great they believed his performance was, i thought he was terrible, attempting a vegas style cabaret song and dance act ("let's see how many of you remember this one!") for a festival crowd was very weak and cheesy, in my view. however, his voice did seem to be in reasonably good shape though.
