Petula Clark's Prolific Composer Still Writing Music At 82

Tony Hatch may not be a household name on these shores, but the breadth of songs this British music man has composed or co-written is forever engraved on the history of rock and roll.

He was especially famous for his collaborations with Petula Clark, giving her "Downtown," "Don't Give Up," "A Sign of The Times," "Don't Sleep In The Subway," "Who Am I?", "My Love," "I Know A Place" and countless others.

It turns out while most 1960s hitmakers are either long gone or long retired, Hatch is still hatching hits at the tender age of 82. An astounding talent who doesn't get a lot of credit. But you still hear him everywhere.

Tony Hatch reveals he is still composing at the age of 82
