Dallas Frazier

The great songwriter Dallas Frazier has died.  I can't find it on media, but his daughter posted it on Facebook, and so did David Frizzell.  This upsets me so much, I've been championing him for so long, and the Country Music Hall of Fame keeps passing over him.  They have a crazy rule that they only induct a songwriter every five years.   And if they'd only do a BMI Repertoire Search (anybody can do this)  you would hope they would recognize their mistake. They can start in 1960 withh Alley Oop and go through forever  - with beautiful songs like There Goes My Everything,   and back to novelties like Mohair Sam and Elvira.   He did it all over 50 or more years, and nobody cared???

Re: Dallas Frazier

Thanks, Flo ... and you certainly make a compelling case for his induction to the Hall of Fame. The following obituary was just posted on Billboard.
