Randy Bachman’s Vinyl Tap to take another spin on syndicated radio

TORONTO - Randy Bachman says his rock ‘n’ roll radio show hasn’t tapped out after all.
Less than a year after “Vinyl Tap” was cancelled by CBC Radio, the 78-year-old Winnipeg musician tells The Canadian Press he will relaunch the series March 6 on commercial radio airwaves.
A new syndicated version has been picked up by Corus Entertainment to broadcast on nearly a dozen of its rock stations across the country. Episodes will air Sundays in most markets, which include Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Hamilton and others.

any news about renewed tour plans with burton, or has that been scrapped? might they still record again anew, regardless?

They had a show scheduled for Windsor in mid-March which, like Elton John's two dates in Toronto, was postponed due to capacity restrictions. Too bad because the Ontario government just announced that all venues can go full capacity again on March 1. Cummings/Bachman have three Ontario dates in July which I imagine will be a go unless Son of Omicron shows up. Burton hasn't mentioned on his FB site anything about recording again with Randy.
