Does anyone remember this summer-only series? The talent involved was certainly impressive. Longtime screen star Mickey Rooney, Greg Evigan, later of B.J. And the Bear and Paul Shaffer, who would be by David Letterman's side for decades on his future talk show.  Not to mention Norman Lear as the producer. 

Despite that pedigree, it disappeared without a trace. The year was 1977, but I have absolutely no memory of it. Only a short promo of it exists on YouTube.
