Anybody recognize a song, probably from the 50s, with the spoken words pa-pa-papaya at the beginning before the song starts, said as one word or may sound like stuttering. I think papaya is then repeated, “pa-pa-papaya, papaya.” It’s been running around in my head for a couple of days and I’m not getting anywhere figuring it out.

"Don't Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes" by Perry Como starts out with "pa-pa-pa-paya". It was a #1 hit back in January of 1953.

That’s it!! THANKS MUCH.
I actually thought it was a Como song but held that back in case I was wrong. I even played some of my Como songs trying to find it but since I have Perry Como Yesterday & Today 3 Disc box set
and he appears on 28 other CDs I also own, for a total of 78 different songs. I got tired before I got to that one.
I was expecting someone to tell me they didn’t know that one but they could give me Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow.
