Yellow Submarine was Ringo Starr's song and became one of his biggest performances with the Beatles. But as Apple gets ready to release a completely remastered version of Revolver, some snippets of old tapes have surfaced, including one with John Lennon doing a working version of the tune. And in typical Lennon fashion, he turns it into a morose reflection of his own childhood, repeatedly singing, "no one cared, no one cared."
