What A Line-Up! The Motown Reunion Concert Of Two Lifetimes

A pre-Grammy Awards tribute to two Motown legends - label founder 93-year-old Berry Gordy Jr. and composing and singing legend Smokey Robinson, 82 - had perhaps one of the greatest line-ups in music history.

Among those paying tribute to the dynamic duo was a line-up that has to stand as one of the most incredible ever seen on a single stage. Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, The Isley Brothers and Lionel Richie were just a few on the marquee who gathered to pay a musical tribute to the two pioneers.

I just hope someone recorded this thing for future broadcast. Given the ages of some of those involved, it's unlikely there will ever be this kind of gathering ever again. Pretty amazing.

Much more about who performed which hits here.
