Austin music icon Willie Nelson won the Grammy for best country album for "A Beautiful Time" at the 65th Grammy Awards. The album was released last year on April 29, his 89th birthday. 
Nelson's "Live Forever" also took the honor for best country solo performance earlier Sunday night. He was nominated for best country song with his performance in "I'll Love You Till The Day I Die" by Rodney Crowell and Chris Stapleton; however, the award went to Matt Rogers, Ben Stennis and Cody Johnson for " 'Til You Can't."
