I've mentioned before that I often appreciate what I learn from obituaries about lesser-known artists, particularly ones that I really didn't know about before. Well, I knew about Peggy Scott from "Lover's Holiday" and "Soulshake", duets that she'd done with Jo Jo Benson in 1968-69 that I really like. But I wasn't aware (or had completely forgotten if it was ever mentioned on the previous board) that she'd had a significant comeback in the late 1990s that continued into the 2000s. Nice to see that there was much more enduring recognition of her considerable talent than I had previously realized.

I didn't know this female singer.
I've listened to four her HOT 100 duets now (1968-1969) and I have to write - that's my taste.
