Last song – slow song

That was generally the rule at the 60’s dances or “mixers” I attended.  I seem to remember these being last song but need help remembering others.

Rosie & the Originals - Angel Baby
Five Satins - In The Still Of The Night
The Penguins - Earth Angel

For some reason, I don’t remember hearing Santo & Johnny’s Sleep Walk until a few years later on a juke box.

Unchained Melody was another.  To this day, whenever we are at a family or friend's wedding, my wife always puts in  that request wth the DJ.

I don't know how the rest of you feel about "last song".
I remember that Radio Free Europe's "Music Afternoon" ended with the beautiful, almost sad instrumental "Sleepy Shores" by Johnny Pearson.
It made me feel - "What a pity that this beautiful three-hour music show is ending..."
