Voice Of America on shortwave in the seventies
VOA had a half-hour music program called "The Now Sound" in the 1970s.
Do any of you remember what the show's opening song was?

It's possible that the opening tune for "The Now Sound" was an instrumental version of "The Beat Goes On"
by Booker T. & the M.G.'s.
But I'm not entirely sure and I didn't want to affect your recollection.
I'm not sure, so I'm asking if anyone remembers.
