Billboard Ranks Top 10 Summer Songs From 1958-2022
Never mind Christmas. To me, summer truly is the most wonderful time of the year. And some of these songs, especially from the 60s, certainly bear that out, as ranked by Billboard's Hot 100.

Just looking at 1959, would have thought Here Comes Summer by Jerry Keller would be there but not at all, Three Bells instead. Somehow can't see that as Summer song.

The rankings only include the top songs during each year's 3-month summer period.
Three Bells made it to #1 in August, which apparently was enough for it to make the top 10 of this survey.
I see that The Stripper came in at #3 in "62. Whew, is it hot!
