I've long thought that it was quite remarkable that Chad Allan was a founding member of two major Canadian bands, and I have similarly felt that way about Denny Laine having been a founding member of both the Moody Blues and Wings. Another similarity is that they both sang a breakthrough hit for their original bands, but then moved on within a couple of years.
