Upon hearing Marv Johnson's song today, I started thinking about songs that reference lack of good looks.
Here are a few that immediately came to mind. Can you add to the list?
You Got What It Takes - Marv Johnson
"And nature didn't give you such a beautiful face"
But You're Mine - Sonny and Cher
"You're not real pretty but you belong to me" (Cher singing to Sonny)
If You Wanna Be Happy - Jimmy Soul
"Though her face is ugly, her eyes don't match
Take it from me she's a better catch"
Ar Seventeen - Janis Ian
"To ugly duckling girls like me"

Can only come up with a few, barely.
"They'll put you in the ASPCA you mangy mutt" - Napoleon XIV
And to include an instrumental: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Shelley Fabares did a song called Funny Face (album cut) that included the lyrics
"You got a turned up nose
But I still love you"

“Another Saturday Night” by Sam Cooke:
“Another fella told me he had a sister who looked just fine
Instead of being my deliverance, she had a strange resemblance
To a cat named Frankenstein.”
“Small Sad Sam” by Phil Mclean:
“Here's a tale of a man who was puny and weak
Stood four foot six in his stocking feet
Kinda narrow in the shoulder and heavy in the waist
Everything about him seemed to be misplaced, small Sam.”
“Pink Shoe Laces” by Dodie Stevens:
“Now I've got a guy and his name is Dooley
He's my guy and I love him truly
He's not good lookin', heaven knows
But I'm wild about his crazy clothes.”

Judy In Disguise by John Fred and his Playboy Band
I read he was looking at a cute girl wearing big sunglasses at a concert but when she took them off she wasn't very pretty. Of course there's the Lucy In The Sky connection

Don't know if I'd call them oldies (even though the 80s/90s was a few years ago) but...
The Northern Pikes - She Ain't Pretty She Just Looks That Way.
The Monks - Nice Legs, Shame About Her Face

In the song Give Him A Great Big Kiss by the Shangri Las, Mary, after encouragement from her friends, is describing her boyfriend, in an apparent sarcastic tone:
"Big bulky sweaters to match his eyes (tell me more)
Dirty fingernails (tell me more)
Oh boy what a prize"
