Why A Beatles 45 May Fetch $11,390 At Auction

There's nothing really remarkable about the demo recording of the early Fab Four doing "Love Me Do" on one side and "Please Please Me" on the other. But it's the label that explains why this is expected to a best seller at a British auction on Monday. It's one of only 250 discs made that credit the song to Lennon and "McArtney."

And up goes the value!

I wonder if anybody else didn't notice the misspelling of Paul's name on aflem's label pic or in his post?  At any rate, Su E is gonna cash in.

The Beatles record did not sell

The auction results page reads "passed" which means it either didn't receive any bids or didn't reach the reserve price. Not sure which.

Never count your chickens...
