The King/Goffin song sets the theme. Can you add to the list?
Will You Still Love Me Tomottow - The Shirelles
"Is this a lasting treasure
Or just a moment's pleasure?"
Will You Be Staying After Sunday - Peppermint Rainbow (I guess this would actually be a 3-night stand)
"Your lips are mine on Friday night
The next two days you hold me tight
But when it's done, you always run, and I'm alone."
Stay Awhile - Dusty Springfield
"Treat me right, must you run now
For the night's just begun now, oh
Honey please, won't you stay awhile with me?"

It's maybe a bit different from the examples that you gave, but "I'm Into Somethin' Good" by Earl-Jean (covered by Herman's Hermits) has the lines "When he walked me home and he held my hand / Knew it wouldn't be just a one-night stand / 'Cause he asked to see me next week and I told him he could". Also, I think that the overall sentiments of "Sharing The Night Together" by Dr. Hook might fit with this theme.

Good ones, Lorne
In a similar vein, Poor Side Of Town by Johnny Rivers has the lyrics:
"To him you were nothin' but a little plaything
Not much more than an overnight fling"
Also, The Peppermint Rainbow had a follow-up to Will You Be Staying After Sunday titled Don't Wake Me Up In The Morning Michael, centered around the same theme:
"Don't wake me up in the morning, Michael
Unless you want me beyond tonight
Please stay with me in the morning, Michael
And hold me in the light"

"Will you take me away and will you make me your wife?" Paradise By The Dashboard Light (Meatloaf)

Me & Mrs. Jones - Billy Paul
Apparently, they had a thing going on.

A song with the exact opposite message to the theme:
Michael Nesmith's composition A Different Drum (The Stone Poneys) puts forward a totally different viewpoint. The girl is leaving because she is not interested in a longer commitment.
"It's just that I am not in the market
For a boy who wants to love only me
All I'm saying's I'm not ready for any person
Place or thing to try and pull the reins in on me,"

When I was trying to think of songs that would fit this theme, I thought of "Gentle on My Mind" and how it was about someone who was expressing the opposite point of view.

Bobby Goldsboro's "I'm A Drifter" is similar to that theme.
