Original Members Still Performing in Oldies Bands

I'm compiling a list of oldies groups that are still performing and have at least 2 original members.  Can anyone add to the list?

THREE ORIGINALS

The Cowsills  -   Bob, Paul and Susan

The Chantels  -  Renee Minus White / Lois Harris Powel /Sonia Goring Wilson

TWO ORIGINALS

The Passions  -  Jimmy Gallagher  /  Albee Galone  / occasionally joined by Lou Rotondo

Rolling Stones  -  Mick Jagger /  Keith Richards

The Rascals  -  Felix Cavaliere  /  Gene Cornish

The Buckinghams  -  Carl Giammarese  / Nick Fortuna

The Cyrkle  -  Don Daneman  / Michael Losekamp

Little Anthony and the Imperials  -  Anthony Gourdine  /  Ernest Wright

Jay and the Americans  -  Marty Sanders  /  Sandy Deanne

The Zombies  -  Rod Argent  /  Colin Blunstone  *Argent suffered a stroke in July and has retired from performing

Re: Original Members Still Performing in Oldies Bands

The Who and, I don't know if they qualify as an Oldies act but Los Lobos, who formed in 1973, still has 4 of its 5 original members. The new guy in Los Lobos, Steve Berlin, joined in 1982.

Also, original members Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman still take The Byrds on the road once in a while. Abba has all four original members, but they're now holograms when they hit the road.

One other obscure example came to my mind. A couple of years back a buddy of mine produced a Pennsylvania reunion concert for the The Buoys, who were a one-hit wonder with the song "Timothy". Three of the four original members performed. The other may have been eaten.

Stretching the criteria somewhat:  Bruce Johnston, who joined the group in early 1965 (so not an original but pretty close) continues to tour with Mike Love in the current configuration of the Beach Boys.

So, is Mike Love a one-man-show (with his X number of accompanying troubadours) able to use the official registered name, "Beach Boys?"  Does he record under his name as well or does he have the where with-all to record using either the Beach Boys or Mike Love as the artist?

Re: Original Members Still Performing in Oldies Bands

In reply to the question about the name, a dispute arose about 25 years ago when Al Jardine was touring with a group he called The Beach Boys:  Friends and Family,  He was sued by Mike Love, who claimed he (Jardine) could not use the Beach Boys name.  The result of the suit is summarized in this quote from CBC News:

"Love first sued Jardine for trademark infringement in 2000, saying he did not have the right to use the band's name. The same year, a judge agreed that Love was the sole licensee of the Beach Boys name, and an appeals court upheld the ruling in 2003."

As to recent recordings, Mike Love has recorded 5 solo albums under the name Mike Love, the most recent in 2023.
