There are certain songs that are extremely annoying to me - so much so that I will mute the radio until the song is over. Among my most annoying are:
Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Good Bye - Steam
So annoying. That chorus of Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye is repeated 20 times in four minutes. Ugh!!!
Simon Says - 1910 Fruitgum Company / Yummy Yummy - Ohio Express
So silly and puerile. Unbearable!!!
Everything is Beautiful - Ray Stevens
Among the most inane and super-naive lyrics ever written.
Sorry, Ray, a mass murderers is not "beautiful in his own way".
Nor are the LA fires or the hurricanes and tornadoes that hit the southeast U.S. months ago.

Oh gawd! Just reading those words "yummy, yummy" and "love in my tummy" makes me want to

Cat's In The Cradle-Harry Chapin. Preachy and overplayed and one of the few songs which make me change the station.

These make me drop whatever I am doing to change the channel:
“Shout” - Isley Brothers
“These Eyes” - The Guess Who
“Beep, Beep” The Playmates – hearing this preposterous story once is one too many
Taz’s entry reminded me of the time long ago when we were on the It’s a Small World ride at Disneyland and close to exit it broke down and we had to listen to “It’s a Small World” over and over for about a half hour more.

I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen this song: Chuck Berry's Top hit, #1 for two consecutive week, My Ding-A-Ling. Bizarre song for such a colorful, talented artist.

Almost any doo-wop song, except for "Poor Rock 'N Roll" by the Nobles.

I've never been much of a surfing nor hot-rod type music fan, but I can generally tolerate it... In fact, I actually kinda like "Help Me Rhonda", however "Round, round, I get a-round" makes me dive for the channel changer.
