Just when you think there's nothing left that's new from any of the two surviving Beatles comes this: Ringo Starr is taping an upcoming special for CBS at the Ryman auditorium in Nashville - and some of it will be country-oriented.

The show is being taped on Jan. 15th and 16th, and will feature some big name guest stars, including Brenda Lee, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris and Jack White.

One highlight to watch for:

"The taping will include an all-star performance of “With a Little Help From My Friends,” and proceeds will support the American Red Cross and those impacted by the ongoing California wildfires."

No word yet on when it will air other than this spring, but you can bet the publicity machine will be cranked up weeks before it does.
